It combines foundational theories with hands-on practice, covering child-centered approaches like Reggio Emilia and anti-bias education. Through workshops and placements, students learn to create inclusive, engaging play environments that foster children’s agency, aligning with National Quality Standards and preparing them for diverse roles in early childhood education and play work.
The Child Protection Awareness Induction Training provides essential knowledge and skills for recognizing, responding to, and reporting child abuse and neglect. This training covers key legal responsibilities, signs of abuse, and appropriate actions to ensure children’s safety and well-being. Participants learn about safeguarding policies, their role in creating safe environments, and maintaining professional boundaries. It emphasizes confidentiality, reporting protocols, and child-centered practices to uphold the highest standards of protection in educational and care settings.
1. 3-5-Year-Old Children Placement:
- Focused on supporting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based activities, small group interactions, and individualized support.
2. Birth-2 Placement:
- Engaged with infants and toddlers, providing responsive care, fostering secure attachments, and encouraging sensory exploration and motor development in a nurturing environment.
3. Kindergarten Placement:
- Currently involved in a kindergarten setting, where you implement daily activities that stimulate curiosity and learning. You incorporate early literacy, numeracy, and creativity through hands-on, play-centered approaches.
4. Full Responsibility Role:
- Took on 15 days of full responsibility, planning and facilitating the program for the entire group. You gained experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and delivering a cohesive weekly curriculum aligned with developmental needs.
